Peter Beard creates beautiful images of Africa. He has a whole collection of pieces that he’s made into collages in the past 10 years or so. This piece titled “Serengeti Lion” was taken in 1976 and made into a collage in 2006. It is a gelatin silver print with blood and ink, both beautiful and poignant. He has a whole collection over on his website too {link}.
Kelty created eight record covers for her sister’s wedding favors and they turned out GREAT! The color! The spunk! I wish I could have gone to that wedding!

Cristiana Couceiro {link} produces some truly inspirational collage work. Especially because you don’t look at it and immediately think “collage”. It’s so refined!
Somsara Rielly {link} is doing a collage a day for 365 days to add meaning and explore herself as an artist for her 35th birthday.
Doing a collage a day is definitely on my list-of-things-to-do-before-I-die (aka my bucket list), so I’m really interested in seeing how this goes.
I’m really diggin’ some of Laura Terry’s {link} collage and mixed media work.
Kat Macleod’s Process.
This video is about Kat Macleod’s process in the making of her book ‘Like I Give A Frock’.
I’m a big fan of her illustrations. I bought her book ‘The Cocktail Book’ for her amazing work. Check out my ‘Additions to my Library’ on the left column for her book.
You can see some of her work over at jackywinter.com. Another collage artist who inspires!

I am so jealous of New Yorkers right now. They get to go see Jonathan Allen’s collage showcase Terminal Daydream {link} at GONORTH {link} this weekend.
Lillian Pereira’s collages {link} are really wonderful. There are some great inspirational pieces in there. Do I have to go to work? Can’t I just stay home and make pretty collages?
I busted out my collaging supplies on Sunday and put together this one. I’m not sure I really like it just yet… it may be a work in progress. We’ll see…
I am COMPLETELY in love with Erica Harris’s collage {link}. I was just going to take a casual stroll through her work and move on along to the next thing, but I can’t stop looking at it all. Ideas are suddenly brewing, growing, flourishing in my brain! Now that’s when you know you’ve hit something wonderful!
Record the Day {link}. This is where I got the idea of creating collages that were 3x5 notecard sized. It’s managable.
Her collections are always so pretty. Beautiful colors and interesting textures.
