After all that plant inspiration, I made my own little succulent paradise. I’m pretty pleased with it.
And I still have another half dozen plants that needed to be potted, but I didn’t have enough potting soil.

Christmas Cookies! Aren’t these so beautiful! They’re super tasty too. It’s dangerous working for an amazing grocery store around the holidays. Everyone wants to share beautiful baked goods.

It was raining pretty much all day. After work, I curled up on my back porch with a cup of tea and a good book and just read until it was dark while listening to the rain. It was lovely.

Another good day! Shopping and then coffee with Chandra and Danielle. Got more work done. Dinner at the Lambe’s. Watched Elf and then Hangover 2 as a family, because… ya know… we’re all about family-friendly movies.

Chris and I had the best day ever. We went to an awesome bike maintenance class with our friend, Danielle. Got a bunch of work done in a coffee shop. Ate dinner at one of our new favorite co-op restaurants (Black Star Co-Op for you Austinites). Then saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie. (It was pretty good.)

This little Dinosaur (courtesy of Photojojo) has recently been moving around my desk. I put him one place and the next morning he’s somewhere else.
The toys are alive.
